October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Each October, Products for Peace creates and runs local product donation drives that help victims of domestic violence. We invite the community to donate personal care items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion to our distinctive purple boxes. Baby items such as diapers, wipes and baby wash are needed for the little ones too. All of the donations are taken to a local domestic violence shelter for women and children.
Products for Peace was created by a California Bay Area Girl Scout troop in 2018. As the Girl Scout troop graduated from high school, so did Products for Peace. 2022 sees Products for Peace continuing its work, with future plans to grow statewide and nationally.

Look for our posters and purple boxes
Keep your eyes open for posters and purple donation boxes in the areas of our local chapters. Drop your donations into any box you see and our local chapter members will gather the donations and deliver them to a domestic violence shelter.
